TREE

Tree is a living thing where most of creatures’ lives depend on. In general, a tree consist of three parts. The leaves, the trunk, and the roots. And these parts has its own function which gives benefit to the food production of a tree. The roots are the part of a tree which seek  for water and mineral within the soil. The trunk which is the hardest part of the tree has a function to transport the water and the mineral absorbed by the roots. The leaves are the upper part of the tree, these are the places where all the material needed such as water and mineral processed through a system called photosynthesis which produces starch and oxygen. The starch is stored within the tree and the oxygen is released to the air.

Townsville might sound creepy and scary by some people, but not by me. Yes. Only me. It’s a normal town if you insisted. There were park and hall, hospital and school, just like a normal town you see. There was nothing to be worried about. Although, I was not denying that they were quite old. But that was not a big problem wasn’t it?

In Townsville everyday is night. The sun had left this town for along time. But everything was alright. People here lived normally even without the sun. They worked and slept, went and came. As I say before, it was a normal town. What were most people scared of?

The Johny’s Bakery was still here. I used to go there when I was a kid. Yes, when I was. It has been a long time. A very long time that I could not even remember anymore. Everything has changed. No, maybe I’m the only one who changed. Maybe. I didn’t know. I couldn’t remember. The shop is no longer crowded as it was. People didn’t go really often over there. I knew the owner of the shop. He was Henry, he was a friend of mine. He was really kind man or at least he used to be. But he changed since Oliver, his only son, died a few years ago. No one really knew why. People said it was a curse. Some said it was a murder.
